INTERSIGHT ECHOES (2025)

Intersight Echoes (2025)

Intersight Echoes is a graphite composition that exemplifies my ongoing inquiry into perception, orientation, and abstraction. The drawing resists a fixed top or bottom, inviting the viewer to rotate and reengage with its shifting forms from multiple vantage points. Executed in soft pencil on high-quality A3 paper, the work layers precise architectural curvature with fluid organic linework, suggesting both mechanical structure and emotive gesture. Its visual language straddles multiple registers: at once anatomical and constructed, lyrical and diagrammatic. Viewers may glimpse hints of facial contours, rib-like forms, or skeletal frameworks interwoven with imagined machinery or urban density. This ambiguity is central to my approach—the drawing functions not as a representation but as a perceptual map, a kind of inner architecture of seeing and sensing. Created through a meditative and intuitive process, Intersight Echoes reflects my philosophical resistance to overdetermined meaning. Like other pieces in this body of work, it avoids symbolic closure in favor of open-ended engagement. The title itself suggests a reverberation between acts of perception—a seeing that resounds, fragments, and reconfigures across time, space, and consciousness. Whether hung vertically, horizontally, or on a diagonal, the piece retains compositional balance and coherence. This refusal of fixed orientation challenges the viewer’s habitual relation to images, echoing my broader anthropological stance: that meaning is contingent, provisional, and always in motion. This drawing may be shipped either flat or rolled, according to the collector’s preference.
